‘Daughter’ (2018) - 108cm x 52cm - Merino, crossbred wool, crushed earth pigments (hand painted).

This work is an emotionally charged piece exploring a human connection with the land. It was exhibited as part of ‘Kindred of the Dust’, Jess’ solo show at Timeless Textiles Gallery in Newcastle NSW. It makes an impressive statement on the wall, yet softens a space with its natural textiles and colour scheme.

This work does not require framing as it is supported by a dowel and loop/D-ring hanging system.
